Shannon and Chase officially got married last weekend, so I figured it was time to publish their engagement photos at Lake Georgetown that we took last summer.
I always recommend to my engaged couples that we pick a location with special meaning to their relationship. For Shannon and Chase, their ideal date night is anywhere they can let their pup Marley run free in the water.
Marley is definitely their fur baby, so it made sense to include her in their engagement photos at Lake Georgetown.
It was an idyllic evening. Shannon and Chase sat along the rocks, bare feet in the water. We sipped on Dos Equis beers and threw the frisbee for Marley. After a quick outfit change, we ended the session with more traditional engagement photos during the sunset.
I hope years from now, Shannon and Chase will look at these photos and remember what this sweet season felt like for them. The way the cold beer tasted. The refreshing feeling of stepping into the lake on a hot summer day. Marley running around the rocks and diving into the water for her ball. So simple. So sweet.
Chase told me at their wedding last weekend that he absolutely loved my approach to their engagement session.
