Every event has its own rhythm — the laughter, the conversations, the moments of connection that make people feel part of something bigger. My role is to notice those details and preserve them, so you can look back and remember not just what happened, but the energy of being there. The result is a collection of images that reflect the spirit of your gathering and the people who made it meaningful.

I'll never forget the first event I was paid to photograph.
It was a DIY meet-up for women who work in the creative industry. Having no idea what to expect, the organizer hoped at least a dozen people would show up. Instead, over 300 people did. And that meet-up ended up being to impetus of what is now Future Front Texas, a non-profit that empowers and invests in women-owned businesses and creatives.
where it all started
Event photography is the foundation of my practice; it is where my business began. I have photographed galas, ribbon cuttings, concerts, supper clubs, and more.
All of those events had one thing in common: Organizers behind the events that were just as passionate as I am in investing in our community and bringing people together.
I share that story because I want you to know that my journey as a business owner began at an event just like yours.

Consultation & booking

Once you submit an inquiry and I've confirmed I'm available for your event, we'll schedule a quick phone call to get to talk about your vision for your event. After the call, you'll receive a proposal where you'll pick your package, sign a contract, and pay a 50% deposit to lock in your date.

02.
I'm with you every step of the way as you plan with over 10 years of event experience. You'll receive a welcome guide and planning questionnaire. Most clients send me a timeline and a detailed shot list. A week before your event, I'll confirm all the details.
The event
03.
I arrive to your event, ready to capture the magic! My focus will be on capturing candid interactions, genuine emotions, and unscripted moments. I will also take plenty of posed group shots and detail photos for any event sponsors.
gallery delivery
04.
Within 2 weeks you'll receive your digital photo gallery that's easy to share with your community. You also have the option to upgrade your package to receive your photos faster. Non-profits always receive complimentary sneak peeks.

What is your turnaround time for event photos?
My turnaround time is typically 2-3 weeks, with a max turnaround time of one month during peak seasons. When possible, you can pay an extra fee to skip the line and receive your photos 24 hours. You can also add-on same day sneak peeks for social media for an additional fee.
I do my best work when working with brands who trust me with creative control over editing. Please review some of my past galleries to ensure that my editing style — true-to-color with warm tones — aligns with your brand. I do not make adjustments to the editing once a full gallery is delivered.
Will you change your editing to fit our brand's aesthetic?

All event package sales are final. I will try my best to accommodate a new date. If I’m already booked on that day - or if something happens to me that makes me unable to photograph your event - I will send an associate photographer in my place, and I will still edit the photos.If you cancel your event, you can apply the money you paid as credit toward a future photo session with TLP.

Frequently asked questions
Yes! I have equipment and liability insurance that is required by many event venues. If your venue needs to be added to my policy, just let me know.
Our venue requires Liability insurance, do you have that?
what usage rights are included in your packages?
My standard contract with brands is that I retain the copyrights for all works created during the event, and the brand is given usage rights. There is an additional fee if you plan to use your event photos beyond sharing on your website and on social media, like on a billboard or on a physical product. Additionally, anyone aside from the brand (like a drink sponsor) must purchase photos for commercial use on an individual basis.
Are you comfortable taking photos in a variety of lighting situations?
Absolutely! I love playing with light, and have invested in years of education and equipment to ensure I'm prepared for any type of lighting situation. I am comfortable capturing your day with flash and ambient lighting.
Can we have access to the unedited photos?
I cull the photos taken during your event down to a selection of the best photos. I consider curation of the final gallery an important part of the service I provide, so you don't get access of the unedited photos. If you were unhappy with the gallery or thought I missed something, I would be happy to meet up and go through the raw images together.
