Once you submit an inquiry, you'll receive a full price guide and invite to book a consultation with me. We'll meet either in person or over zoom so we can get to know each other and you can share your vision for your wedding day.

booking

After the consultation, I'll send you a custom proposal based on what we discussed during the meeting. You'll sign a contract and pay a 25% deposit to lock in your date. Congrats, You've booked your wedding photographer!

engagement
session

I help you plan an engagement session that is both fun and uniquely you. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other, ensure you feel confident in front of my lens, and capture photos that celebrate your relationship.

planning process

 I'm with you every step of the way as you plan with vendor recs and timeline assistance.You'll receive a welcome guide and planning questionnaire. We'll meet at least one more time to review your timeline and family list before the wedding.

the wedding

My team and I arrive to your wedding, ready to capture the magic! Our focus will be on capturing candid interactions, genuine emotions, and unscripted moments — using the timeline as our guide — and ensuring you have the best time.

sneak peeks!

On the Monday after your wedding, you'll receive a sneak peek gallery filled with the most exciting moments of your day, so you have plenty to share with friends and family while you wait for your entire gallery.

gallery delivery

Within 6 to 8 weeks you'll receive your digital photo gallery that's easy to share with your loved ones and order physical products like prints. You'll also receive a memory box that includes heirloom-quality prints and a USB drive.  

08.

album design

If you opted for a fine art wedding album, I begin the white glove process of designing your book. All TLP albums include up to 80 pages of photo, as well as a custom-designed cover and spine. All you have to do is approve the design!

what to expect

What makes your approach to weddings different?

I have a documentary approach to weddings, which means I focus primarily on photographing your day as it really happens. I don't pose you to pretend something is happening organically if it isn't actually happening. Instead, you get to focus on being present! I do still take posed portraits and group photos.


Yes! I have equipment and liability insurance that is required by many wedding venues.

Are you enthusiastic about serving LGBTQ+ couples?

YES. I love my LGBTQ+ couples and I can't wait until we live in a world where you don't have to ask this anymore. Tess Leslie Photography is LGBTQ+ Inclusive Certified by EquallyWed, which means I've taken a training to learn best practices while serving the LGBTQ+ community. Of course, if you have any feedback on ways I can be a better ally, please let me know.

All wedding package sales are final. When you book a weddind date, that means I am saying no to other couples and potential work. I will try my best to accommodate a new date. If I’m already booked on that day - or if something happens to me that makes me unable to photograph your wedding - I will send an associate photographer with a similar approach in my place, and I will still edit the photos.

FAQ'S

Full day wedding galleries usually include 700+ final images. Photos are ready 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding date and will be sent to you via a digital gallery. You'll also receive a USB drive with a copy of all the photos, and a few of your favorite photos printed on museum-grade photo paper. 

How many photos will i receive and when will I get them?

I recommend Tess to anyone that wants to savor a precious moment. 

Tess is extremely talented and perceptive; she is able to capture the tender moments that would easily go unremembered without a photo, in addition to all the classic views of the event. Tess is also extremely suave and has the ability to snap photos without you even realizing she was there! Thanks to Tess we can transport back to our special day instantly.
