This festival-inspired wedding weekend was a celebration of all things Austin.
As recent transplants from California, the majority of Sarah and Brandon’s guests were traveling from out of town. They wanted to give all of their friends and family an authentic “Taste of Austin.” What better way than to incorporate Austin’s iconic music festival?
More couples than ever are choosing to curate highly personalized and interactive wedding weekends for their loved ones, rather than planning a traditional wedding. I am here for it!
Just like ACL, Sarah and Brandon’s festival-inspired wedding was a three day affair.
They kicked off the weekend with an intimate backyard ceremony with just friends and family. The following evening they hosted a welcome party at The Cathedral in East Austin. Their weekend culminated with the Austin City Limits festival-themed wedding reception at Rambling Rose Ranch. The reception featured local bands, a petting zoo, live painting, and an array of food trucks for dinner.
The key making this wedding weekend into a true “Taste of Austin” for their friends and family was tapping into local businesses and restaurants for every aspect of the celebration. Keep reading to see how all of the details came together to be a once-in-a-lifetime wedding weekend.
